National Press Club News Conference in Support of COFA for Micronesia
Tony Zielinski organized a news conference in Feb 2024 to put pressure on the 118th Congress to pass COFA and invited the US Micronesia Council to participate in the news conference, a week later the House passed COFA legislation. The inexplicable and damaging half-year delay in authorizing COFA served as motivation for the establishment of the US Micronesia Council.
